A:Is the wood finished on the guitar?
B:the wood does not have a sealer applied but is fairly smooth, needs to be sanded in the direction of the grain if you decide to make the wood grain stand out, but it is smooth enough if applying a solid color.
A:Which does this have, a basswood body or an alder body? The description says both... and the two are very different woods.
B:Ive bought 3 so far and all 3 have been alder.
A:Bought this kit and assembled it, sort of. But the neck is too high above the body, so the action is zero. Before I start belt sanding, what gives?
B:I had to level the frets a bit, and sand the bottom just a little. I think some of it may be intentional to get a tight fit, however it is a bit of a pain.
A:is there soldering requirerd?
B:Only two or three wires to the back of the pots. Where was an included wiring and setup manual. Pretty easy tofollow.
